GUIDE

A TTS Monster alternative for channel rewards, chat and Kick

TTS.Monster is a free web app that reads stream donations aloud in AI voices. You connect StreamElements, Streamlabs or Ko-fi, add its overlay URL to OBS, and every donation message plays in the voice the viewer picked from more than 100. It works with Twitch and YouTube and takes no cut of your revenue.

Its trigger is a donation. If you want viewers to hear their channel point redemption, a chat command or a Kick reward in a funny voice, you need a different setup. This guide explains when TTS Monster is the right tool and when Streamer.bot with the free SuperClonica engine fits better.

What TTS Monster does well

It is free, needs no download and takes about five minutes to set up: log in, add your StreamElements, Streamlabs or Ko-fi details, tune the settings and add the overlay to OBS. Mods skip, mute or pause messages from the recent-events list they already use, and more than 100 sound bites add effects. For donation TTS on Twitch or YouTube it is hard to beat.

Where it does not fit

The TTS plays when a donation arrives, so it is not built for channel point rewards, chat commands or Kick. It runs in the cloud, so you choose from its voice list rather than your own voice files. Its developer API counts characters against a quota and takes up to 500 characters per request.

Channel rewards and Kick with SuperClonica

Streamer.bot connects to Twitch and Kick and can run a program when a viewer redeems a reward. Our small tested script passes the viewer’s text to the free SuperClonica engine, which voices it offline on your PC, and Streamer.bot plays the file. Install the engine with python -m pip install superclonica-cpu; the Streamer.bot and Kick guides show every step.

Character voices you own

The engine reads the ten stock voices for free, and they may be used commercially. The catalog adds about 190 voices, from announcers and narrators to cartoon and game characters; each is a small file you buy once and keep. Any voice page plays a line of 30 to 100 characters free before you buy.

For your own bot

If you write your own bot or overlay, the SuperClonica speech API returns ogg, mp3 or wav from one POST request with every catalog voice. A free key gives 3 minutes of audio a day, and paid plans start at $5 a month.
