GUIDE

AI voice for a faceless YouTube channel

A faceless channel lives on its voice: documentaries, top lists, explainers, story channels, game lore. If you do not want to record yourself, an AI voice reads your script in the same voice every time, and a mistake is fixed by editing a sentence.

SuperClonica has narrator and storyteller voices, a free online test and a free engine that voices whole scripts on your computer. This guide shows which voices carry a channel, which YouTube rules to keep in mind and how to voice every video offline.

Voices that carry a channel

Pick one voice and keep it: on a faceless channel, the voice becomes the channel’s identity.

  • Conversational Narrator: a neutral male narrator for retellings and everyday voice-over.
  • Energetic Narrator: mid-low with clear emphasis, so reviews and first-person stories sound alive.
  • Young Analyst: reads reviews and comparisons clearly, without theatrics.
  • Anna: a calm, fairly low female voice for letters, memories and stories.
  • Reporter: clear emphasis for news-style chronicles.
  • Maya: a conversational female voice, free.

Test your intro free online

On the page of any voice, paste the first line of your script, 30 to 100 characters, choose the language and press Voice it. In a few seconds you hear how your intro will sound and can download it. No account is needed.

Rules to keep in mind

An AI voice is a tool for your script, not a replacement for it.

  • YouTube asks creators to disclose realistic altered or synthetic content, especially when a real person appears to say something they did not say; check its current rules when you upload.
  • Never imitate a real person without consent.
  • YouTube does not monetize mass-produced or repetitive videos; your own script, research and editing are what make a channel.
  • Character voices are fan-made: use them for parody and fan works, not to pass anything off as official.

Every video offline

Install the free SuperClonica engine: python -m pip install superclonica-cpu. Save each script as a text file and voice it with one command: superclonica --text-file video-12.txt --voice narrator.json --lang en --normalize --output video-12.wav. The engine splits long scripts at natural pauses, --normalize keeps every video at the same loudness, −18 LUFS, and the 16-bit WAV goes straight into your editor. It runs offline on an ordinary processor, with no character limit, so a weekly upload costs nothing extra.

Your own voice without a microphone

A channel can sound like you without you recording every take. Record a clean phrase of 5 to 10 seconds, create a voice in the studio and train it on a computer with an NVIDIA graphics card; training on your own hardware is free. Then you type the script and your voice reads it, in any of 31 languages. Without a suitable card, order the voice on the exchange from an author who trains it.
