1. Install the package
Python 3.10 or newer is required. Install one of the two packages: for the CPU or for an NVIDIA GPU. For the GPU, pip installs CUDA and cuDNN itself.
SuperClonica is our speech engine built on Supertonic 3. It is faster on CPU and GPU, sounds cleaner and works with the same voice JSON files.
The packages are published on PyPI: superclonica-cpu and superclonica-gpu-cuda.

Open "My library" and download the voice JSON. Files made for Supertonic 3 work too.
My libraryPass the JSON path to the voice parameter. The Supertonic 3 base model (about 400 MB) is downloaded on first run.

python -m pip install superclonica-cpu
Requires Python 3.11 or newer and an NVIDIA driver.
python -m pip install superclonica-gpu-cuda
Install only one package: together they get in each other’s way. To switch, first remove the previous one along with its ONNX Runtime:
python -m pip uninstall -y superclonica-cpu superclonica-gpu-cuda onnxruntime onnxruntime-gpu
from superclonica import Superclonica
tts = Superclonica() # GPU if available, otherwise CPU
audio, sample_rate = tts.synthesize(
"Hello! Your new voice is ready.", voice="voice.json", lang="en", seed=7
)
tts.save("hello.wav", audio)
Long texts, dialogues, custom voices and a comparison with pyttsx3 and gTTS: Text to speech in Python.
superclonica --text "Hello! Your new voice is ready." --voice voice.json --lang en --output hello.wav
A ready image with an HTTP server and the command line: superclonica/superclonica. The model (about 400 MB) downloads on the first start into the superclonica-models volume.
docker run -d -p 8000:8000 -v superclonica-models:/models superclonica/superclonica:cpu
Requires the NVIDIA driver and the NVIDIA Container Toolkit.
docker run -d --gpus all -p 8000:8000 -v superclonica-models:/models superclonica/superclonica:cuda
The voice goes into the request as the JSON file itself. It is about 0.3 MB, so build the request in a file:
python -c "import json; json.dump({'text': 'Hello! Your new voice is ready.', 'lang': 'en', 'voice': json.load(open('voice.json'))}, open('request.json', 'w'))"
curl -X POST localhost:8000/synthesize -H "Content-Type: application/json" -d @request.json -o hello.wav
