Producer tag voice generator: a voice tag for your beats

A producer tag is the short phrase at the start of a beat, “Prod. by …”, that tells listeners who made it and, repeated through a preview, keeps the beat from being used without paying. Most producers start without a voice actor, and a text-to-speech tag is the quickest way to get one.

SuperClonica has deep, female, announcer and character voices, free to try online, and a free engine that exports a clean WAV for your DAW. This guide shows how to write a tag that works, which voices suit it and which voices you can safely use on beats you sell.

Voices for a producer tag

Listen to the demos with headphones on: a tag is heard over a loud beat, so clear consonants matter more than a pretty timbre. Doom and Business Male Voice were recorded in Russian and may keep a slight accent in English.

  • Doom and Business Male Voice: low and heavy, for dark trap and drill tags.
  • Sexy voice and E-girl: female voices recorded in English, for the popular soft-spoken tag.
  • The Super Smash Bros. 4/Ultimate Announcer and Jarvis (ENG): loud or robotic, for a tag that sounds like a hype intro.
  • The ten stock voices of the model: neutral male and female voices, free and safe for commercial beats.

Voice your tag free online

On the page of any voice, type your tag, choose the language and press Voice it. The free test needs 30 to 100 characters, so write a full sentence, for example “You are now listening to a beat produced by Max Lee”, and trim it in your DAW if you only want the name. In a few seconds you can download the recording, with no account.

Make the tag sound finished

Export the tag as WAV, not MP3: you will process it, and every lossy step costs clarity.

  • Keep the core short: the producer name and two or three words around it.
  • Spell the name the way it should sound; if the engine reads it wrong, respell it, for example “Max Lee” instead of an all-caps nickname.
  • Add effects in your DAW: a little reverb and delay, a high-pass filter, and pitch shift if you want it deeper.
  • Voice two or three versions and keep the one that cuts through the mix.

Tagging preview beats

Many producers put the tag at the start of a beat and repeat it every 20 to 40 seconds in the free preview, then deliver an untagged file after purchase. To voice tags in several voices or languages at once, install the free engine: python -m pip install superclonica-cpu, then superclonica --text "You are now listening to a beat produced by Max Lee." --voice M2 --lang en --normalize --output tag.wav. --normalize brings every version to the same loudness, and there is no character minimum offline.

Voices you can use on beats you sell

Beats are sold, so the tag is part of a commercial product. The ten stock voices of the model, M1 to M5 and F1 to F5, are free under the OpenRAIL-M license, which allows commercial use within its restrictions. Your own voice, trained in the SuperClonica studio from a clean recording, is another safe choice. Character voices such as Doom, the Smash announcer or Jarvis are fan-made: fine for a tag you share for fun, not for beats you sell. Never use a voice that imitates a real artist.
