Movie trailer voice generator: the deep, slow voice of an epic trailer
A trailer lives on one voice: deep, slow and certain, saying very little between the hits of the music. “In a world where…” has become a joke because everyone knows that voice. You need it for a game trailer, a short-film teaser, a channel intro or a parody, and you rarely have a trailer narrator at hand.
SuperClonica has deep and commanding voices, free to try online, and a free engine for every line of the trailer. This guide shows which voices fit, how to write trailer lines, how to build the trailer sound and which voices you can use in a trailer you publish.
Voices for a trailer
Saruman, Severus Snape, Chancellor Palpatine, Batman and Homelander were recorded in English; Zeus, Earthshaker and Chaos Knight in Russian, so they may keep a slight accent in English.
- Saruman: deep and commanding, the classic epic voice.
- Severus Snape and Chancellor Palpatine: low, slow and serious, for a dark drama or a thriller.
- Batman and Homelander: low voices with menace, for a superhero or villain teaser.
- Zeus, Earthshaker and Chaos Knight: very low, unhurried voices for a fantasy or game trailer.
- The ten stock voices of the model: free and safe for a trailer you publish.
Voice a trailer line free online
On the page of any voice, type a line of 30 to 100 characters, for example “In a world where silence is forbidden, one voice will rise.”, choose the language and press Voice it. In a few seconds you can listen and download the recording, with no account.
Write like a trailer
Play the script over the music once: if a line steps on a hit, cut words, not the music.
- One idea per line: “This summer.” “One man.” “One last chance.” For the free test, voice them together and cut them apart in your editor.
- Leave room for the music: voice each line separately and put a hit or a silence between them; dots give only a short pause.
- Write years as words: “twenty twenty-seven”; digits are read as plain numbers, so 2027 would become two thousand and twenty-seven.
- End on the title, alone, as the last line.
Build the trailer sound
The engine gives a dry, clean voice, and the trailer sound comes from your editor: lower the pitch a little, add a big reverb, compress hard and leave a low boom under the key lines. To voice the whole trailer, install the free engine with python -m pip install superclonica-cpu, then run superclonica --text "In a world where silence is forbidden, one voice will rise." --voice M1 --lang en --speed 0.85 --seed 11 --output trailer_01.wav. --speed 0.85 gives the slow, weighty delivery; voice every line into its own file and place the files on the timeline.
Trailers you publish
For a trailer you publish, for a game store page, a festival or a client, use the ten stock voices, M1 to M5 and F1 to F5, free under the OpenRAIL-M license, or your own voice trained in the SuperClonica studio. Character voices such as Saruman, Batman or Zeus are fan-made: fine for fan trailers and parodies, not for advertising a product. Do not imitate the voice of a real trailer narrator or actor.
