Meditation voice generator: calm AI voices for guided sessions
A guided meditation lives on its voice: calm, warm, unhurried, with long silences between the words. An AI voice can read your script that way every time, and a new session is just a new text.
SuperClonica has calm voices for Supertonic 3, a free online test and a free engine that voices whole sessions on your computer. This guide shows which voices suit meditation, how to write a script for slow listening, how to build long pauses and how to put a session together.
Calm voices for meditation
Listen to a full minute, not one line: a voice that sounds pleasant for ten seconds may tire the ear after ten minutes.
- Anna: calm and fairly low, for a quiet first-person voice.
- Eva: neutral and restrained, without expressive extremes.
- Sofia and Nika: even, pleasant female voices.
- Conversational Narrator: a neutral male voice, not too low, not too high.
- Maya: a conversational female voice, free.
Hear a line free online
On the page of any voice, paste a line of your script, 30 to 100 characters, choose the language and press Voice it. In a few seconds you hear whether the voice relaxes you, and can download it. No account is needed.
Write a script for slow listening
The engine does not act out stage directions, so “(pause)” in the text would be read aloud.
- Short sentences, one instruction each: “Breathe in slowly. Hold. And let it go.”
- Present tense and gentle verbs.
- Commas and full stops for small pauses; ellipses where the voice should trail off.
- Mark long pauses in your script, but leave them out of the text you voice.
Voice a session with long pauses
Install the free engine: python -m pip install superclonica-cpu. Voice each step of the session as its own file, a little slower than the default speed of 1.05: superclonica --text "Close your eyes. Let your shoulders drop." --voice calm.json --lang en --speed 0.9 --keep-silence --output step-01.wav. The --keep-silence option keeps the natural silence at the edges. Then place the files on a timeline in an audio editor, insert silences of exactly the length you want, add soft music and export the session to MP3.
Your own voice for your listeners
Listeners stay with a voice they trust. If you teach meditation, record a clean phrase of 5 to 10 seconds of your own calm voice, create a voice in the studio and train it on a computer with an NVIDIA graphics card; training on your own hardware is free. Then new sessions are typed, not recorded, and can even be made in other languages.
