Soft female voice text to speech: calm, pleasant AI voices
A soft, pleasant female voice is what people look for when the audio should relax rather than sell: a bedtime story, a guided meditation, an ASMR clip, a gentle alarm or a cosy stream. Harsh, overly bright voices tire the ear; soft ones keep it calm.
This guide shows which voices in the SuperClonica catalog suit each of those jobs, how to write text that sounds relaxed, and how to make long calm audio for free.
Pick the right soft voice
For sleep stories, meditation and ASMR-style lines, start with Very Soft Girl, smooth and velvety, or Fragile Girl, quiet with a darker, tender tone. Sultry Girl is low and breathy for romantic or mysterious voice-overs. Beautiful Girl is warm and expressive for friendly narration and vlogs, Cute Girl and Cutie are brighter and sweeter, and Soft E-Girl and Soft Energetic Girl suit streams and game characters. All of them are in the Women category.
Hear it free on your own words
On the page of any voice, type a line of 30 to 100 characters, such as “Close your eyes and take a slow, deep breath.”, choose the language and press Voice it. In a few seconds you can listen and download the recording, with no account. Try the same line in two or three voices before choosing.
Write text that sounds calm
Short sentences, one image or instruction at a time, and full stops where a breath should go make any voice sound slower and gentler. Avoid exclamation marks and capital letters, which push the voice up. For meditation, leave a separate short line for each step so the pauses fall in the right places.
Long relaxing audio offline
For a 20-minute sleep story or a meditation track, download the voice and install the free engine with python -m pip install superclonica-cpu, then run superclonica --text-file story.txt --voice voice.json --lang en --speed 0.95 --normalize --output story.mp3. A --speed below the default 1.05 slows the delivery; the engine runs offline with no character limit.
Languages and fair use
These voices were recorded in English. Every voice speaks 31 languages, so they can read other languages too, with some accent of the original. Use them for your own videos, apps, streams and audio; do not present an AI voice as a real person talking to someone.
