TikTok LIVE TTS: have your chat read aloud on stream

Reading the chat aloud is one of the easiest ways to make a TikTok LIVE feel interactive: viewers hear their own comments in a funny or robotic voice and keep writing. Streamers usually add it with a tool such as TikFinity, which connects to the stream and speaks the comments.

This guide shows the setup and the settings that keep it from turning into spam, based on TikFinity’s own guide, and how to give gifts and follows their own character voice lines made on SuperClonica.

Set up chat TTS with TikFinity

Start your TikTok LIVE, connect TikFinity to your account and open its TTS page or widget; it runs in the browser or as a Windows desktop app and has to stay open while you stream. According to TikFinity, the voice plays right in the browser, so no OBS or TikTok LIVE Studio overlay is needed for it, and the core TTS features are free, with premium plans adding more voices.

Settings that keep it fun

Choose who may trigger the voice, for example everyone, followers or moderators only, and which comments are read: all of them, or only those starting with a character such as a dot, which lets viewers decide what should be spoken. Add a cooldown per user, a maximum message length and the spam filter, and block users who abuse it. Test the voice and volume before you go live.

Character voice lines for gifts and follows

Alerts feel bigger when a character announces them. Open a voice in the SuperClonica catalog, such as an announcer, a narrator or a game character, type a line of 30 to 100 characters, such as “Thank you for the gift, you are a legend!”, voice it free on the page and download it. TikFinity’s Actions & Events can trigger sounds on gifts, follows and keywords; check that your alert tool accepts your own audio file and add the line there. The guide to stream alert voices has more ideas.

Your own TTS voice on PC

If you stream from a computer and want chat read in a voice of your choice rather than a built-in one, run the free SuperClonica engine on your PC: the guide to Twitch chat TTS shows how a chat bot sends each message to a local SuperClonica server and plays the answer, an approach that works with any tool able to send an HTTP request.
