# VHS voice-over dub: the 90s one-voice translation style Updated 2026-10-24 In the 1990s, many films reached Eastern Europe on VHS tapes dubbed by a single voice: one flat, slightly nasal narrator read every character over the original soundtrack. That sound became a meme of its own, and people still dub clips, trailers and memes in that style. The SuperClonica catalog has voices made in that spirit for Supertonic 3. This guide shows how to voice a parody dub for free online and how to voice whole scenes offline. These are stylizations and parodies, not the voices of real translators. ## VHS-style voices in the catalog Both were made from Russian recordings and sound most natural in Russian. - Blood and Concrete: a low male voice with the spirit of an old VHS dub, for meme monologues and joke voice-overs. - Gavrilov-style VHS Dub: a parody of the single-voice dubbing style, low and even, one narrator for everyone. A parody, not the real voice. ## Voice a parody dub free online On the page of either voice, type a phrase of 30 to 100 characters, choose the language and press Voice it.
