# Spanish text to speech: AI voices that read Spanish

Spanish is one of the 31 languages of Supertonic 3, the open text-to-speech model behind SuperClonica, so every voice in the catalog reads Spanish: narrators, male and female voices, characters from games, anime, cartoons and films. ## Try any voice in Spanish for free

On the page of any voice, choose Spanish next to the text field, type a phrase of 30 to 100 characters and press Voice it. You hear your words in that voice in a few seconds and can download the recording. No account is needed.

## Write Spanish the way it should sound

Short sentences with clear punctuation sound the most natural.

- Keep the written accents (á, é, í, ó, ú) and ñ: they tell the model where the stress falls.
- Use the opening ¿ and ¡: questions and exclamations get their melody from the start of the sentence.
- Numbers can stay as digits: the engine spells them as Spanish words, so 2026 is read naturally.
- Latin American or European Spanish: the model reads one Spanish, so the variety comes from your wording.

## What accent to expect

The voices in the catalog were made from English and Russian recordings. They keep their timbre in Spanish, and the accent of the original can be heard, a little for some voices and more for others. For memes and character lines that accent is often part of the fun; for narration, listen to the demo and your own line first, or get a voice recorded in Spanish.

## Get a voice recorded in Spanish

For a native Spanish voice, train one from a clean recording of 5 to 10 seconds in Spanish, your own voice or a speaker who agreed, in the studio on a computer with an NVIDIA graphics card. No graphics card? Order the voice on the exchange: an author trains it from your recording, and you pay only after you accept it. Authors who publish the first Spanish-recorded voices in the catalog will stand out.

## Unlimited Spanish offline

For long texts, download the voice file and install the free SuperClonica engine: python -m pip install superclonica-cpu. Then voice a Spanish text file with one command: superclonica --text "$(cat texto.txt)" --voice voz.json --lang es --output texto.wav. ### Is Spanish text to speech free and unlimited?

The online test reads 30 to 100 characters for free in any voice. With the voice file, the free SuperClonica engine reads unlimited Spanish on your computer; some voices are free and others are bought once.

### Does it read numbers in Spanish?

Yes. The engine spells digits as Spanish words before synthesis; write ordinals and special forms in words if you need them.

### Are there voices recorded in Spanish?

Not yet: the current voices were made from English and Russian recordings and speak Spanish with some accent. You can train a Spanish voice from your own recording or order one on the exchange.

### Can I get Latin American Spanish?

The model reads one Spanish; Latin American or European flavour comes from your wording and from the voice. A voice trained on a Latin American recording sounds closest.
