## Write text that sounds scary

Add a little reverb and a low drone in your editor, and leave silence around the lines.

- Short sentences with pauses between them: full stops, not commas.
- Ellipses before the scary part to build suspense.
- Few exclamation marks: quiet threats are creepier than shouting.
- Address the listener directly: “I can see you.”
